“Your uncle in the appliance business” has been a salesman for the past 30 years and for the last 4 years he has been the manager of Derby Appliances in Edison. He knows this business and loves his customers. He is a single dad (and a great one!) and is our founder and fearless leader.
Howard is the executive older brother of our founder. He spent 20 years in the film business in New York City and another 15 working customer service for a major asphalt plant. He’s our chief of staff. Howie has been married to Robin for 38 years and 2 grown sons and 7 grandchildren.
Clarence is our head sales trainer and lead salesman. He has been in the appliance business for well over 30 years and spent the last 10 years as your favorite salesman at Derby. Clarence is a veteran with over 10 years in the US Army! He will always go out of his way to help his customers. He is a dad, a grandfather, and a genuinely awesome guy.
Our executive nephew Paul has been involved in a number of things in his career: a land surveyor for years and then customer service in the restaurant industry. He is learning this business like a scholar and will always go the extra mile. Paul is Howie & Robin’s son and a nephew to our founder, Scott.
Joe has worked in the appliance industry on all sides. He started at Derby Appliances as a delivery truck helper, learned about appliance installations, and soon moved into sales. Joe is a fantastic and very knowledgeable salesman. He’s also a wickedly funny guy and is guaranteed to make you smile!
Jeff is our sales ambassador. He is our number one finder of people in need and has been a salesman for a very long time! He is currently the #1 sales guy at Dayton Toyota - at least until we can grab him up full time.
You know him, you love him. Pete is a professional appliance installer with decades of experience. He is amazing at making things fit. If you need countertops cut or space for a wall oven, Pete is the man you want behind the saw!
Uncle Bernie is a unique mixture of MacGyver, Einstein, and Thomas Edison. He’s our builder of grills and fixer of stuff. If it’s broken or busted, Bernie can bring it back to life. Little known fact, he is a direct relative of your favorite Stooge Larry! You will see Uncle Bernie here all the time so say hello!
Robin has been in customer service for most of her life and is our chief in the office. If there is ever a problem, you can bet the farm she will make it right. Robin is the boss behind the boss - married to Howie for 38 years with 2 grown sons and 7 grandchildren.
Our Ashee is a mom, niece, and the one who makes sure we all have a clean place to work. She keeps everything shiny! Ashley is only with us part time because she is one of only a few female concrete inspectors in NJ and works in contract with the NJ Port Authority.

Uncle Gayle (that’s what Kenny calls her) was one of our closest friends for decades. She was always there for the family and we love her and her husband, Jeffrey! We lost our dear friend, sister, aunt, and Kenny’s co-Godmother. May she rest in everlasting glory.
Cousin Dave is the owner of Jertex Networks, an IT Support company for small businesses. Dave and Uncle Scott worked together and the now closed Derby Appliances. Daves expertise keeps My Family Appliances' computers up and running and in tip top shape at all times. We highly recommend using Jertex if you have the need for IT support! Kenny is the executive Vice President and head kid at My Family Appliances as well as the face of our advertising campaign. He’s Uncle Scott’s boy, a Halloween baby, and about to be 7! He loves dinosaurs, school, and his family. Email Kenny’s daddy at [email protected].
Donk is our mascot! He’s Kenny’s best friend and a world traveler. He is without a doubt the coolest donkey in town. Look for him in our ads and commercials! When you stop by, just say Donk sent me!
Marty is a freshman in high school and a great kid! He has done so much to help get all of this going. He works hard and spends all his free time hanging around and helping.
Rayna and Melodie are daughters of Paul, granddaughters of Howie & Robin, sisters to Marty & Isaac, and nieces to the boss Scott. Rayna is a recent high school grad and works currently as a bartender. Melody is a high school senior and also works in the restaurant business. They are amazing girls and are always available to help and smile for a couple of bucks from their uncle!
They are the sons, grandsons, cousins, and nephews in the family. All three are fine young men and the next generation at My Family Appliances. Look for some of them in our internet commercials - the stars of the future! And let’s not forget baby Damien who is just over 3 months old.
